Can you hear the trumpets sounding? Can you hear the angels singing? Can you hear... from where ever you are.... my victorious battle cry? Oh... that's just me? Well, nevermind.
I do have some great news though. You see since Josh and I have moved to the lovely state of North Carolina we have been less than pleased with our residence.
The neighborhood is in a great location. Easy walks to the grocery store, adorable homes, plenty of sidewalks, great restaurants. The actual house we live in though is literally falling apart... like pieces of the walls and ceiling are breaking off... dozens of cracks line our walls.... and don't get me started about the bugs during the summertime... bllllaaah!
Today dear, dear friends we are signing a lease for our new residence, and I am so excited!
There are so many great things about this place, but I'll only list a few: gas stove, walk-in closests, sun-filled rooms (good new for me and my camera), screened in porch, & 2 bathrooms! Yippidy Skippidy! I don't care if you can hear it, the dang angels are singing to me.
Obviously this house is going to need to be decorated, yes? Yes! So here are some pieces I've had my eyes on that might just have to join Josh, me and the pups in the new home.
inaluxe - If you've been reading my blog for awhile, you probably know that etsy is one of my happy places. So it should be no surprise that I found inaluxe there.
It is a one-woman, one-man team who make some of the most interesting art. I love/want so many of their piece. Here are some of my favorites.
One picture is broken down into cards and then connected together. What is also brilliant is that you can use your own photo or use one of theirs.
Here are some that caught my eye.... I really want this first one.
Rugs from West Elm - Have you been to West Elm? It's a wonderful, wonderful place.
While there is a lot more that I love at West Elm than just rugs, that's what I'll focus on today.... because I said so, and because I want one.
I hope you enjoyed my pretty finds. What are some things you've had your eyes on?
